MJP Quantity Surveying

With over 30 years' experience operating at senior level across the construction and property sectors, I provide independent Chartered Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and Project Management services to clients throughout Wales and England.

As an independent consultant, I offer direct access to senior-level expertise without the overheads and bureaucracy often associated with larger consultancies. Every client benefits from a personal, responsive service tailored to the specific requirements of their project.

I have worked with a variety of clients, contractors and project sizes ranging from minor works of around £100,000 to major developments of £35m.

I support building contractors, architects, design teams and private clients with estimating, cost planning, tendering, procurement, valuations, cost reporting, subcontractor account management, value engineering and final account processes JCT and NEC contracts.

Sometimes you don't need a large consultancy or a complicated new structure - you need an experienced quantity surveyor who can step in, understand the project quickly and become a useful part of the team.

MJP Quantity Surveying can integrate with established client, contractor or consultant teams, providing flexible commercial support where and when it is needed. Whether you need additional resource during a busy period, specialist input on a particular project, or ongoing quantity surveying support, the aim is to add value from day one.

This means getting up to speed quickly, working collaboratively with existing processes, communicating clearly and helping the wider team make informed commercial decisions. In short, useful support without the corporate theatre - and no need to find another chair, unless absolutely necessary.
